We booked Orkney Uncovered to take us around to various prehistoric sites. These included Skara Bear, Maes Howe, and Brogdar’s Ring. Kinlay was a fantastic and amusing host, full of local and historic knowledge.
(ETA – I thought I corrected “Skara Bear” to “Skara Brae”. I’m not fixing it now.)
Got dinner and dessert at The Ferry Inn across from the ferry terminal here in Stromness. All good.
Now we’re waiting for the terminal to re-open and for our ferry to arrive. Should be able to hop on in a couple hours.
